Our Destin-based crews carry the parts and the know-how to get your air moving again today. Priority scheduling available across Destin and the surrounding zip codes.
Call +1-866-805-8548 and describe what your system is doing — the symptoms help us send a tech prepared with the right parts.
A licensed technician arrives, runs a full diagnostic, and explains exactly what's wrong in plain language.
Most repairs are completed same-visit, and we test the system before we leave to confirm it's actually holding.
Leonard HVAC grew one honest service call at a time in communities like Destin. We invest in ongoing training so our techs recognize a failing capacitor, a cracked heat exchanger, or a refrigerant leak before it turns into an emergency.
We're not interested in being the cheapest quote on the page — we're the company that tells you what actually needs fixing instead of what pads the ticket. Every job we run is backed by full liability coverage and current state licensing, and we keep that documentation available on request for every job, big or small.
Being local matters more than most companies let on. That local knowledge shapes the parts we stock on the truck — it's the difference between a tech who's guessing and a tech who's seen your exact situation a hundred times before.
Too many homeowners in Destin have a story about a tech who showed up late, quoted one price, and charged another. That's the gap we built Leonard HVAC to close. Every dispatcher, every technician, and every follow-up call is held to the same standard, because a customer who trusts us once tends to call us again — and Destin is a small enough community that reputation travels fast.
When you call +1-866-805-8548, you're talking to someone who understands the local permitting process, the common equipment brands installed in Destin homes, and realistic scheduling given local demand. It also means faster escalation when something's urgent — a local dispatcher can reroute the nearest truck in minutes, not hours.
We cover the full range of heating, cooling, and air quality work Destin properties actually need.
When your Hvac Repair system fails without warning, waiting days for an appointment isn't an option. Our Destin dispatch team moves emergency tickets to the front of the schedule so a technician is diagnosing your system as fast as physically possible.
If a specialty part genuinely does need to be ordered, we'll set up a safe temporary fix and give you a real timeline instead of leaving you guessing.
An aging system that's constantly breaking down usually costs more to keep patching than to replace. We walk Destin homeowners through efficiency ratings and how they translate into real monthly savings before a single piece of equipment gets ordered.
We protect floors and entryways during the install and haul away the old equipment so you're not left dealing with disposal.
A retail floor, a restaurant kitchen, or an office suite can't run without stable climate control. Our commercial division services light industrial and warehouse ventilation across Destin, with after-hours work to avoid disrupting business.
Our commercial techs are trained to work around your customers and staff, scheduling noisy or disruptive work outside peak hours whenever possible.
Preventive maintenance is the cheapest repair you'll ever pay for, because it's the one that prevents the bigger bill. Beyond standard tune-ups, we also handle humidifier, dehumidifier, and air purifier installation for Destin households that want more than just temperature control.
A tune-up typically takes under an hour and covers the checkpoints most likely to catch a problem before it becomes a breakdown.
Guarantees only mean something if a company actually honors them, so here's exactly what ours covers.
Details vary by job type and are always shared upfront, never buried in fine print.
We quote a flat rate before work begins and that number doesn't change once you approve it.
A technician doesn't consider the job done until the system is tested and performing correctly.
Catching these signs early usually means a same-day repair instead of an emergency call at the worst possible moment.
Rattling during startup often means a component has worked itself loose and needs tightening before it causes real damage.
This is one of the most common complaints we hear on service calls across Destin.
A tune-up often identifies exactly what's driving the extra energy use.
This is one of the warning signs we recommend not waiting on.
A musty smell often points to mold or moisture buildup somewhere in the ductwork.
Repeated repairs on an aging system are usually the clearest sign that replacement will save more money than another patch job.
No inflated "emergency surcharge" games — the number we quote is the number you pay.
Dispatchers give you a realistic arrival window instead of a vague "sometime today".
If something isn't right after we leave, we come back and make it right.
Every technician carries current state licensing and manufacturer training.
Photos and plain-language notes accompany every diagnostic.
We'll walk you through what's actually available before you decide.
A snapshot of the feedback that keeps us accountable.
"Our AC quit on the hottest weekend of the year and they had a tech out within a couple of hours. No pressure to buy a whole new system when a repair was all we needed."
"Scheduled a fall tune-up and they caught a cracked part before it became a real problem. Techs are always polite, always on time, and clean up after themselves."
"They handled the whole install in a single day, exactly like they said they would. New system is noticeably quieter and our energy bill actually dropped."
"As a property manager, having a company that actually answers after-hours calls is rare. Documentation for our records was thorough and easy to file."
"I appreciated that they didn't try to sell me a bigger unit than I needed. Installation crew was in and out in a day and left the space cleaner than they found it."
"Diagnosed a failed capacitor and had it swapped within the hour. No overnight surcharge shock — the price matched what dispatch quoted me on the phone."
None of these are unusual or embarrassing — they're just the normal wear and tear that comes with running a system through Destin's seasonal swings.
Homeowners who schedule a tune-up ahead of each season tend to call us far less often for emergency repairs. Filters should be checked monthly during heavy-use seasons and replaced roughly every 60-90 days depending on your household and any pets.
Keeping vents unblocked by furniture and rugs helps maintain even airflow throughout the home. None of this replaces a professional tune-up, but it does reduce the wear that leads to premature breakdowns between visits.
We also service package units common on manufactured and modular homes throughout the Destin area. If your system was installed by a different company entirely, that's not a problem — we service equipment regardless of who originally put it in, and we'll pull the model and serial information to confirm parts compatibility before any repair begins.
Every tech on our Destin roster goes through background checks, licensing verification, and ongoing manufacturer training.

Most Destin homes benefit from two tune-ups a year — one before cooling season and one before heating season.
If you smell gas or burning, shut off the system at the breaker and step outside, then call us immediately.
We'd rather quote it honestly on the phone than have you feel ambushed by the bill.
Most standard repairs are completed in under two hours once the technician has diagnosed the issue and you've approved the quote.
For commercial accounts or rental properties, a designated point of contact or property manager can coordinate access instead.
Housing stock varies a lot across Destin — older homes often still run original ductwork that needs different care than the sealed, high-efficiency systems going into newer builds.
If you manage several units or a shared system across a Destin property, ask about setting up a standing service account so every request gets handled under one consistent agreement.
We accept standard payment methods for repairs and smaller jobs, and we'll always tell you upfront what a given service is likely to cost so there's no last-minute scramble to figure out payment. If a rebate or local incentive program applies to your Destin installation, our technicians will flag it during the estimate rather than leaving you to track it down after the fact.
